What you will do
Design intelligence workflows
Create interfaces for search, investigation, role-specific workspaces and evidence review.
Make complexity understandable
Turn dense procurement records, risk signals and source trails into clear product experiences.
Strengthen the design system
Build reusable interaction patterns that feel serious, African, modern and credible.
Collaborate across disciplines
Work with engineers, procurement experts and institutional users to solve real user problems.
What success looks like
First 90 days
- Audit core product journeys.
- Define priority UX problems.
- Improve application/investigation IA.
- Create reusable design patterns.
- Prototype key intelligence workflows.
First 6–12 months
- Improve activation and task completion.
- Establish a stronger design system.
- Support role-based workspaces.
- Make evidence and uncertainty easier to understand.
- Improve mobile and tablet experience.

What we are looking for
Must have
- Strong product design portfolio.
- Experience with complex B2B, data or workflow products.
- Excellent information architecture judgment.
- Ability to work from messy problem statements.
- Clear communication with technical teams.
Strongly preferred
- Experience with dashboards, search, analytics or decision-support products.
- Design system experience.
- Research or usability-testing experience.
Nice to have
- Procurement/public-sector context.
- Frontend implementation ability.
- Africa-focused product experience.
