Question 1

What is Sentalica?

Accepted Answer

Sentalica is a procurement intelligence platform that monitors government contracts, supplier networks, and public spending. We aggregate public records from e-GP portals, audit offices, and procurement authorities to give you a unified, searchable view of who is buying what, from whom, and at what price.

Question 2

Which countries does Sentalica cover?

Accepted Answer

We currently focus on East African procurement markets, with deep coverage of Uganda's e-GP portal, PPDA records, and Office of the Auditor General findings. We are expanding to additional countries on a rolling basis.

Question 3

Where does your data come from?

Accepted Answer

Our data is sourced exclusively from public records: government e-procurement portals, public procurement authority publications, auditor general reports, and official gazettes. Every record in our system is traceable to its original public source.

Question 4

How often is the data updated?

Accepted Answer

We continuously scrape and index new procurement notices, contract awards, and audit reports. Most records appear in our system within 24-48 hours of publication on the source portal.

Question 5

Do I need an account to use Sentalica?

Accepted Answer

You can search and browse entity profiles, supplier directories, and public dashboards without an account. Creating a free account unlocks saved searches, watchlist alerts, decision workspaces, and the SentAI assistant.

Question 6

Is Sentalica free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. During early access, everything on Sentalica is free with an account: search, entity and supplier profiles, decision workspaces, exports, alerts, and the SentAI assistant. If we introduce paid tiers later, core public records will stay free and any changes will be announced in advance.

Question 7

What is SentAI?

Accepted Answer

SentAI is our procurement intelligence assistant. Ask it questions in plain English about suppliers, contracts, entities, or spending patterns, and it will generate a sourced briefing with evidence, risk indicators, and recommended actions.

Question 8

Can SentAI make claims without evidence?

Accepted Answer

No. SentAI is designed to refuse making unsupported claims. If there are no matching public records for your query, it will tell you so explicitly rather than fabricating information.
