What you will do
Build robust ingestion
Collect and transform procurement records from portals, PDFs, registries and institutional sources.
Improve entity resolution
Identify when suppliers, directors, PDEs and contracts appear differently across datasets.
Protect provenance
Ensure every intelligence signal can be traced back to source evidence and uncertainty.
Operationalize quality
Create checks, monitors and workflows that make data reliability visible.
What success looks like
First 90 days
- Map priority source systems.
- Stabilize key ingestion jobs.
- Define quality checks.
- Improve supplier/entity matching.
- Document provenance rules.
First 6–12 months
- Deliver repeatable pipelines.
- Improve reconciliation accuracy.
- Support knowledge graph expansion.
- Reduce manual data intervention.
- Create dependable data operations.

What we are looking for
Must have
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Experience building production data pipelines.
- Care for data quality and edge cases.
- Ability to document assumptions and uncertainty.
- Independent problem-solving ability.
Strongly preferred
- Entity resolution or record linkage experience.
- Python/TypeScript data tooling.
- Knowledge graph or analytics engineering experience.
Nice to have
- Procurement, public records or financial data experience.
- OCR/document extraction experience.
- Africa public-data familiarity.
